Hans Van de Pas

Managing Partner

Hans has been active in the field of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) for over 25 years and has been a partner at Match Plan since 2006. His expertise lies mainly in guiding (international) merger and acquisition processes. In addition, Hans is a chartered valuator (Register Valuator in Dutch), and he acts as a valuation expert in court arbitration cases.

Experience

Hans has been advising and supporting entrepreneurs in company sales, acquisitions, company valuations, financing, and financial/strategic advice for over 25 years. Prior to joining Match Plan, Hans worked at EY and Rabobank for many years. At EY, he worked as a senior business advisor and advised numerous businesses on mergers and acquisitions, business planning, and financing.

In 2006, Hans joined Match Plan as Managing Partner.

As a Managing Partner of Match Plan, he assists entrepreneurs on a daily basis with corporate finance issues. He works with owners of national and international medium-sized and smaller family businesses on the entire process of buying and selling companies. As a chartered valuator (Register Valuator in Dutch), he also advises businesses on company valuations. Furthermore, he assists entrepreneurs with financing and strategic advice.

Throughout the years, Hans has acted as the project lead in many transactions across various sectors. In addition to advising clients on transactions in various sectors, he is specialised in the wholesale sector.

Education

Hans graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam with a degree in Business Administration. In 2004, Hans was sworn in as a chartered valuator (Register Valuator in Dutch) after completing the postgraduate course in Business Valuation at the Rotterdam School of Management.

Life drives and passions

When Hans is not working, he enjoys watching or playing football or listening to music. In addition, Hans enjoys travelling. Recently, he went hiking in Spain and is currently looking forward to his next trip.
