Knijn & Damsma was founded in 1997 and is based in Heemskerk. As a facility services provider, it operates in the fields of cleaning, window cleaning, façade cleaning and specialist cleaning. In 2018, in addition to Knijn & Damsma, Knijn & Damsma Leisure was also established. Knijn & Damsma Leisure focuses specifically on cleaning and managing holiday homes, parks and hotels. Its broad range of services, with a strong focus on quality, ensures that the company can completely relieve its clients of any worries when it comes to facility services.

HC Partners

HC Partners is a professional and committed Dutch investor based in Amsterdam. HC Partners focuses on achieving accelerated growth by building strong sustainable businesses with entrepreneurial companies and professionals. Through its active buy-and-build strategy, it develops market leaders within fragmented sectors. Besides Knijn & Damsma, HC Partners also has portfolio companies active in TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification), technical security, oral care and the paramedical sector.

Role of Match Plan

Match Plan assisted and advised the shareholder of Knijn & Damsma throughout the process. Among other things, we helped with:

– Drafting an information memorandum and long list
– Conducting introductory talks with interested buyers
– Analysing and providing guidance on assessing the bids
– Conducting negotiations with the selected interested buyers
– Drafting and agreeing the letter of intent
– Coordinating the due diligence process
– Agreeing the final transaction documentation
