Ángel Carrillo Montero

Founding Partner

Ángel is the founder of Seabird Capital and the head of the financial area of Corporate Finance and Interim Management.

He has a real passion for value creation, helping people achieve their goals as employees, entrepreneurs, business owners and shareholders by creating value through the different processes that affect the corporate finance of their organisations. The need to bring innovation and depth to this value creation gave rise to the Seabird Capital project.

Experience

During his years of professional experience in finance, the multidisciplinary input received has encompassed financial audit (systematic work), analysis in corporate transactions (diligence) and M&A advisory (value creation) being Vice President of two of the leading financial advisory firms in corporate finance at national and international level.

Previously to founding Seabird Capital, Ángel served as Vice President in the Corporate Finance division of GBS Finance and Alantra (former N+1 Group). He also worked for several years in the Transaction Services and Audit Departments at Deloitte.

He has more than 15 years of experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), valuation and advice on transactions, where he has worked for corporate clients and national and international private equity and venture capital firms.

Currently he is member of the Board of Directors at several companies (i.e. Almesa Group).

Education

Ángel holds a Degree in Business Administration from CEU San Pablo University and a Master in Research in Economics and Business from Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE).

Life drives and passions

Angel has a passion for his family, whom he guides his decisions. After work, he tries to find quality time to spend with his wife, his 4 children and the rest of his family. Travelling with his family is one of his pleasures in life.

Additionally, and in a playful way, he is passionate about music, books, cinema and motor racing.
