Jack is an Associate Director at HMT specialising in Debt Advisory, with 10years’ multi-disciplined advisory experience, working as part of the Corporate Finance team.
Jack is thorough but agile in his approach, trusted by clients to deliver complex transactions efficiently.
Jack began his work life by joining NatWest in London after University.
During his career, Jack has worked on more than 60 debt transactions supporting MBOs, growth funding, recapitalisations and acquisition financing, both as a Director in NatWest’s Leveraged Finance team, and as part of the Bank’s restructuring team.
In 2019, he founded NatWest’s £100m Growth Capital Fund, a differentiated lending strategy providing innovative venture & growth debt to early-stage businesses, enabling him to build on close partnerships with management teams and their investors.
Jack obtained a degree in Business Economics from the University of Exeter in 2012 and is part-qualified management accountant with CIMA.
Life drives and passions
When he is not at work, Jack is a clumsy squash player and a slow but enthusiastic Parkrun regular. He enjoys the outdoors, spending most of his holiday time either hiking in Scotland, touring around Europe’s best wine regions or skiing. Jack is a self-confessed DIY enthusiast and often has a new project on the go, although typically with very mixed results!
