Amedeo Vaccani is an experienced Managing Partner with a demonstrated history of working in the management consulting industry. He is a strong business development professional skilled in International Business, Management, Corporate Development, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and Start-ups.
Experience
Amedeo is the founding partner of AVP and has extensive experience in M&A, which enables him to work on all the stages of a transaction, from strategy development and implementation to also integration from acquisitions strategy and partnerships strategy.
He started his career as a Technical Director of Widmer & Ernst AG, then as a Managing Director of W+E Umwelttechnik AG. He continued his career by taking the role of CEO and Business Area manager for ABB Resource Recovery, and launched AVP in 1992.
With a sound technical and commercial background, Amedeo has a strong international business development track record (technology, plant construction, project development, asset management etc.).
In addition, he intervened himself in some SMEs via direct investment and holds various board and advisory mandates.
Education
Amedeo is a graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of technology (ETHZ) in Mechanical Engineering, and also obtained a MBA from Harvard Business School.
