ICFG Germany / Wintergerst assists the sale of Bösinger Fleischwaren GmbH to Adler Schwarzwald GmbH & Co. KG

Wintergerst Societät für Unternehmer-Beratung was able to sell Bösinger Fleischwaren GmbH to Adler Schwarzwald GmbH & Co. KG within the course of a comprehensive investor process.

Bösinger Fleischwaren GmbH is an established producer of high-quality Black Forest sausages and hams that can look back on a long tradition. Approximately 80 employees work at the location in Bösingen producing for major cash & carry food retail chains. Over recent years the company had slid into financial distress due to the economic downturn and the rise in prices for energy and raw materials.
Adler Schwarzwald GmbH & Co. KG is a leading producer of Black Forest hams and sausages that was established in 1920 and currently has approximately 500 employees and a broad network of distributors. It acquired the operations of Bösinger Fleischwaren GmbH at the end of July 2024 and intends to continue the operation as an independent business unit under the name “Bösinger Fleischwaren GmbH”.

The team from Wintergerst Societät für Unternehmer-Beratung worked with great dedication on reaching this investor solution, which ensures that all of the jobs can be retained and the operation in Bösingen continued.

The insolvency administrator, Dr. Schleich from SCHLEICH & PARTNER mbB RECHTSANWÄLTE, is extremely satisfied with the solution: “Together with the management, the business consultants, the team from Wintergerst and, in particular, the workers themselves, we have managed to secure the existence of the location in Bösingen and save all the jobs, despite facing a very challenging environment. I would like to take this opportunity to heartily thank all involved once again!”

“The transaction process was particularly challenging for the Adler Schwarzwald GmbH & Co. KG due to the immense time pressure, the tight market and competitive environment as well as the customer base, which is made up of major players. In spite of these factors, we were able to find the optimal solution for the company, its workforce and the location itself,” adds Volker Wintergerst, founder and managing partner of Wintergerst Societät für Unternehmer-Beratung, in conjunction with Jörg Mayer, who managed the project for Wintergerst.
