Born in 1971, MBA.
Holger has 10 years of experience in strategy consulting and
corporate finance. He supported a number of international transactions on the
buy and sell-side, by structuring carve-outs, performing strategy reviews and
due diligence, carrying out valuations, supporting negotiations and managing
post-merger-integrations. He further advised large multi-nationals on
restructuring, turn around and performance improvement projects. Additionally,
he is experienced in fund portfolio management and the interim management of
portfolio companies.
Since the beginning of 2011, Holger has been heading the
Corporate Finance Department of TPA Horwath Vienna, working on national and
international assignments.
Günter Halvax

Born in 1939, Austrian public accountant, former Partner of
TPA Horwath, Vienna.
From 1998 to 2002, Günter organized the first Austrian
venture capital fair, where he brought together innovative small and
medium-sized businesses and venture capital/private equity investors. During
this period he was able to acquire a thorough knowledge of the venture capital
segment and got to know the important players in the field, as well as government
organizations supporting private equity investments in Austria.
Since retiring from TPA Horwath, Günter has been active as a
senior consultant for TPA Horwath Corporate Finance consulting - bringing many
years of experience as accountant, auditor, and financial advisor to the job.
He works on international assignments and acts as liaison partner for ICFG.
Armin Schaller
Head of Consulting
Born in 1964, Industrial
Engineer (Dipl. Wi-Ing.).
Armin has been working in the field of Corporate Finance
for 20 years. He has gained profound experience in the field of M&A as deal leader
in more than 40 (also international) projects. Additionally he develops
financing models, does Due Diligence (financial, commercial, market and
social), valuations, (re)organization and restructuring (with special skills in
Turnaround Management). Besides Corporate Finance, Armin is very experienced in
Strategic Corporate Management and the design and implementation of Business
Intelligence Systems including Risk Management.
Since 2009, Armin has been leading the business consultancy
at TPA Horwath.
