HMT LLP advised the shareholders of QTR Transport Limited (“QTR”) on the disposal of the business to Palletforce Ltd (“Palletforce”) for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 1980 by Paul White, QTR is based in Newbury & Reading and operates throughout the British Isles. The business provides overall distribution solutions and can operate over 100,000 square feet of warehousing. QTR’s client base includes blue-chip companies as well as smaller businesses.
Palletforce is an award-winning distribution network for small and large goods across the UK and Europe, with over 100 UK depots and 90 network members.
This is the fourth deal that HMT has recently advised on in the logistics sector following the MBOs of ILG, Dalepak and Whistl, which was awarded Deal of the Year at the 2016 Thames Valley Deal Awards.
Paul White, Founder and CEO of QTR, commented
“I would like to thank the team at HMT for all the advice given and for the guidance throughout the sale.”
“We are delighted to have advised Paul on the sale to Palletforce and wish him and the business the best of luck for the future.”
